Dr Jasmin Kee joined Cell Medica in 2018 to lead the establishment of a new manufacturing operation for production of clinical trial products within the Catapult Manufacturing Centre, Stevenage.
Jasmin holds a master’s degree in engineering from Loughborough University. She spent the early years of her career as a process engineer working for blue-chip FMCG companies where she implemented Lean 6σ process optimisation projects. She then undertook an industrial PhD in Regenerative Medicine with Intercytex, focusing on developing scalable, repeatable manufacturing processes for a novel Phase I tissue engineered construct.
Jasmin has now worked in the Cell and Gene Therapy and Biotech industries for over 12 years with companies including Organogenesis Inc, Reneuron and Bio Product Laboratories. She has led teams working on manufacturing process design, scale-up and technology transfer for clinical trial and commercial products, as well as designing manufacturing facilities in the US and UK.
